Nancy Repp

Nancy Repp (August 4, 1929 - April 17, 2013) was very active in the Association, and a faithful attendee at Asilomar and many programs until her failing health made it too dificult. She was an invaluable assistant to Gordon when he was Newsletter Chair - I still remember her helping sort the paper mailing labels that came from National before our Association got computerized. In my years of working Gordon and Nancy, we became very good friends.

Nancy died peacefully. As you may recall, she had successfully fought lung cancer for over 20 years, and was always one of the most cheerful people you'd ever want to see.

April 17, 2013.
Resident of Lafayette, CA
After a lengthy struggle with cancer, Nancy passed away peacefully at home last week. She was the daughter of William and Theresa Hare Marsh. Born in Oakland, and raised in Berkeley, she was a graduate of UC Berkeley, where she met her husband Gordon.

At the center of Nancy's life were family, church, teaching elementary school, her garden (especially roses!) and traveling the world. She was a woman of strong faith, an avid reader, and loved music and art. Her own artistic talents included fine arts, music, and a flare for design, which can be seen at both her church, and her home of 60+ years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Gordon, her sister Rusty Nelson; son Dan of Olympia, WA, son Tim and daughter-in-law Kathy of Pleasant Hill, and daughter Jeanette of San Pedro; grandchildren Brian, Megan, Erin, Zoe and Lily; and niece Marsee Skidmore.

We wish to thank Kaiser Hospice, and St. Anselm's church for their loving care, support, and prayers.

A celebration of life was held on Sat., May 18 at 4 pm at Saint Anselm's Episcopal Church, 682 Michael Lane, Lafayette. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kaiser Hospice (925) 229-7821.
